What is not included

Travel insurance, getting to the port, parking, taxis or car hire on the island and any port charges that vary by operator are not included. Fares change by season, so check the operator's current tariff before you book. See which routes run in which month on the season calendar, or let the island picker suggest one.

FAQ

How much is a day trip from Bodrum to Kos?

Bodrum–Kos fares are about €25–35 each way (October 2026), so roughly €50–70 return per adult before food and sightseeing. We could not verify child fares online, so the calculator counts children at the adult fare.

Do foreigners pay the Turkish exit fee?

No. The 1,250 TL departure fee applies to Turkish citizens only. Some operators add a harbour tax in lira, for example 300 TL per passenger in Ayvalık; the calculator shows it separately.

Is the Marmaris–Rhodes fare one way or return?

Yeşil Marmaris sells a same-day return for €60 and a return on a different day for €95 (October 2026). The calculator uses the same-day fare when you choose 0 nights.

Where do the accommodation figures come from?

The room price and daily spend are your own estimates; the defaults are only a starting point. Ferry fares come from the operators' October 2026 tariffs.

Can I take my car?

Only Ayvalık–Lesvos (car return €110 plus a 750 TL port fee) and Çeşme–Chios (€140–150) carry cars as of October 2026. A Turkish rental car usually cannot leave Turkey. See taking a car to the Greek islands.
